Grape varieties: 100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo)

Vinification:

The wine was aged for 18 months in French oak barrels (80 %) and American oak barrels (20 %), of which 30 % are renewed every year.

Tasting note:

Dense garnet red with purple reflections. Black cherries, black blueberries and liquorice on the enchanting nose. Also caramelised nut cake, blackcurrant jelly and the scent of dark precious wood and warm spices.

Bodega Los Astrales:

The "Los Astrales" winery was opened at the end of 2000 on the initiative of the Romera de la Cruz family. They are the third generation of winemakers in Anguix and have inherited a solid knowledge of wine from their parents. With their uncompromising quality philosophy, they have decided to stop supplying grapes to other wineries and instead produce their own wine.
