- 1ÖTW (ÖTW Erste Lagen):are vineyards whose wines, over the course of a long history, have manifested themselves as the most distinctive and independent representatives of their appellations
- Ried / Location Site or vineyard is the smallest defined geographical origin. Wines from single vineyards with independent and special characteristics are labelled with the vineyard name and reflect the potential of a unique terroir.
- Local winesThe special characteristics of a place are reflected in this category. Each village has a certain typicality according to its geographical location, its altitude and the dominant soil structures. This must be emphasised in the local wines.
- Regional wines: The basis of our hierarchy of origin. It reflects the typicity of the respective region. Most of them are fresh, easy-drinking wines with moderate alcohol, lively fruit and animating acidity - wines for every day.
