White wines

The large number of white grape varieties produces a wide range of white wines, from light and dry wines to complex, almost creamy wines. The colour scale ranges from green to golden yellow, and the alcohol content contributes even more to the perception of the wine than with red wine. Many white wines also have ageing potential and often only reach their drinking maturity after 4 years. It is definitely worth savouring the wines in the right drinking window. White wine is not always only produced from white grapes, red varieties are also suitable for white wine method without using the grape skins.
