In stock
150 cl
Falstaff: 93 points
Alcohol content: 12.5% vol.
Grape varieties: 100% Pinot noir (Pinot noir)
Vinification:
Wild fermented for 15 months, matured in new French oak barriques. The distinctive tannins allow this wine to age beautifully. It is bottled unfiltered and moderately sulphurised, like all Broger wines.
Tasting note:
Complex bouquet with notes of fresh red berries, sour cherry and some dried plum. Also floral nuances and hints of allspice and green hazelnuts. Smooth, elegant attack on the palate, elegant fresh acidity and open structure. Chalky, slightly noticeable tannin, long finish. Great ripening potential.
Michael Broger:
Michel Broger has been cultivating the vineyards on the Ottenberg according to biodynamic guidelines since 2003. The Alte Rebe vines are more than 50 years old.
The biodynamic guiding principle is groundbreaking for the entire farm and will continue to influence our actions in the future. Certification has been deliberately avoided to date.
