Tasting note:

Wonderful nose of dark berries, beautiful presence, medium finish. Acidity, tannins and alcohol excellently integrated. Velvety soft on the palate, marvellous.

Pirmin Umbricht:

Pirmin can't complain about a lack of success. An Umbricht bottle of Aargau state wine has been awarded three times since 2017. Not a bad record, especially when you consider that you have to take a year off after winning this top cantonal trophy. Pirmin was GaultMillau's Rookie of the Year in 2018 and has been one of the top 125 (now 150) winemakers since 2019.
