Tasting note:
Ripe fruit flavours play on the nose, accompanied by a fine note of milk chocolate. The wine is round and balanced, making it the perfect companion for a cosy dinner. Its velvety texture provides a pleasant mouthfeel and rounds off the flavour experience perfectly.
Tenuta Giustini:
The Giustini winery is located in San Giorgio in the picturesque region of Apulia in the south of Italy. Giuseppe Papdopoli bought the estate in 1991 and 14 years later, in 2005, the first self-produced wine was launched on the market. Giuseppe and his two sons Salvatore and Federico are the fourth generation to run the family business. Giustini's vineyards stretch across the gentle Itria hills and fertile plains of Apulia and benefit from the warm sun, the Taranto River and the region's typically mild climate. Indigenous grape varieties such as Primitivo, Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera are preferably cultivated here. Tenuta Giustini follows this philosophy: its aim is to preserve and cultivate these indigenous grape varieties and their typicality, which is inextricably linked to the land. The aim is to enhance the grapes without adulterating them. Their wines are characterised by their clarity, balance, complexity and finesse.
