Tasting note:
Light yellow-green, silver-coloured reflections. Candied mandarin zest, fine ripe tropical fruit, a hint of yellow gooseberries, floral touch, white flowers, a hint of mint and lime. Complex, tightly woven, juicy, fine fruit sweetness, elegant, finesse-rich structure, salty aftertaste, lingers for a very long time, develops an enormous tension, fine tropical fruit in the aftertaste, potential for many years.
Sabathi Winery:
The Sabathis' philosophy is based on the understanding that terroir is not only created by climate and soil, but also by human cultivation. Their natural soil management, the support of plant health and the exclusive use of their own vineyard yeasts allow the wines to express the terroir unadulterated. The Pössnitzberg, with its long history and unique soil composition, is the heart of their vineyards and perfectly embodies the flavours and styles typical of the region.
