Tasting note:

The Tenuta le Colonne 2019 Bolgheri Superiore is a 70/30 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc and is made in a small production of 6,000 (fairly heavy) glass bottles from a site with sandy, gravelly soils. It shows pure flavours of black fruits, dried blueberries, toasted oak, cherry and crushed stone. This soft-textured, medium to full-bodied red wine also shows lovely hints of earth, forest floor and delicate blue flowers.
