James Suckling: 92 points
Alcohol content: 12,5% Vol.
Grape varieties: 77% Chardonnay, 22% Pinot Nero, Pinot Bianco 1%
Vinification:
The Bellavista Cuvée Brut is made from a blend of more than 30 selected base wines from over 100 vineyards in ten municipalities in Franciacorta. The name "Franciacorta" may only be given to sparkling wines that have been produced using the classic method of bottle fermentation, as is the case with Champagne. The comparison with top champagne is by no means arrogant.
Tasting note:
Fine, brilliant straw yellow in colour. Fine floral, fresh nose of white peach and apple. Penetrating white peach flavours on the palate, fine perlage.

The Bellavista Alma Cuvée Brut was awarded the highest rating of "3 glasses" by Gambero Rosso for the first time. Bellavista is one of the top 3 spumante icons in Italy every year and is in no way inferior to champagne. The Bellavista winery is one of the most important and best wineries in Franciacorta. The view of the lake and the plain between Verona and Milan justifies the name: Bellavista.
Bellavista Franciacorta:
Bellavista was founded in Franciacorta in 1977 by Vittorio Moretti, who decided to turn the small family-owned winery into a company. These first historic vineyards of exceptional quality are located on the Bellavista hill, named after its beautiful location. From there you can see Lake Iseo and the entire Po Valley as far as the Alps. The vines, which are on average 25 years old, are cultivated using the Guyot system.
