Initially subtle and restrained on the nose, the fine bouquet opens up with violets and spices after a few swirls; powerful body on the palate with a beautiful mellowness and beguiling elegance.
Cantina Vietti:
The Vietti winery is located in the historic centre of the world-famous wine village of Castiglione Falletto, in the heart of the Barolo region, surrounded by the picturesque hills of the Langhe. Vietti was founded at the end of the 19th century by Carlo Vietti. For four generations now, the Vietti family has cultivated the art of winemaking. The grapes from which Vietti wines are made grow in the best vineyards in the Barolo, Barbaresco, Nizza-Monferrato and Colli Tortonesi areas.
Geology and climatological conditions give them their unique character. Vietti wines express their origins in a typical and clear way that is rarely found today. This loyalty to tradition, without neglecting what is happening in the world of wine production, has secured Vietti wines a place on many top wine lists in the catering world. Since 1974, selected Vietti wines have been labelled with individual artist labels. Inspired by the wine, they are created by renowned artists especially for the respective vintage.
