Tasting note:
The Château Clinet 2019 reveals a deep garnet colour. On the nose, aromas of black fruits swirl between raspberries, blueberries and blackcurrants. After aeration, aromas of spices and pastries unfold, enchanting the nose. On the palate, Château Clinet 2019 reveals a beautiful texture that precedes powerful flavours. The lively energy of this great Red wine from France extends into a rich and intense finish.
Chateau Clinet:
Chateau Clinet is a model Pomerol estate of outstanding quality. The terroir is located at the highest point of the plateau, not far from the world-class Chateau Petrus estate. The foundation stone was laid by the late previous owner, Jean Michel Arcaute.
Organic cultivation, strict yield restriction, hand-picking and a fermentation and maceration period of up to 45 days.
In 1893, the chateau became Premier Cru of Pomerol appointed. The average age of the vines is around 50 years. 75% of the vines are Merlot and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
The chateau has belonged to the Laborde family since 1998. The estate comprises around 11.5 hectares.
Ready to drink from now until 2055.
