Vinification:
Hand-picked, gentle direct pressing. Matured in steel tanks for 8 months.
Tasting note:
Subtle bouquet, slate stone, lemons, lavender, honey, white flowers and nectarines. On the palate, creamy, fresh and very long-lasting with flavours of white peach, lemon thyme, again blossom honey and pineapple. A great accompaniment to fish. Decant in advance.
Domaine du Pegau:
The Féraud family has been closely associated with viticulture in Châteauneuf since 1670. In 1964, Paul Féraud began bottling his wines himself for the first time. Pégau has long since become legendary for its uncompromisingly traditional Châteauneufs, for which the 13 classic grape varieties are still used today.
