12 months maturation in French oak barrels (50% New)

Tasting note:

Intense and transparent ruby red in colour, it explodes on the nose with a bouquet of red fruits and nuances of liquorice and spices. The undergrowth of the Mediterranean scrub that surrounds the vineyard is reflected in the invigorating freshness of the glass, redcurrants, juniper and blueberries, as well as juiciness that comes from the mineral succulence.

Azienda Agricola Duemani:

At the Duemani estate, the three vineyards are arranged in the shape of an amphitheatre with a view of the sea. Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah thrive there. The highest vineyard hill has the richest soil; it is planted with Cabernet.

The smallest, very stony vineyard is the centrepiece of the small Tuscan winery. The approximately 7,000 vines of the Syrah variety grow in bush training, i.e. without a support system consisting of wires, frames and stakes.
