In 2008, Bernhard Ott was named "Winemaker of the Year" by Falstaff. Around 95% of his vineyards are planted with the local Grüner Veltliner variety, and Bernhard presses his Grüner Veltliners to perfection with infinite dedication, earning him the flattering nickname "Mr Grüner Veltliner". Bernhard Ott has been cultivating his vineyards according to biodynamic guidelines since 2006.
