Tasting note:

The Vietti 2021 Langhe Nebbiolo Perbacco is a spicy and aromatically intense wine. It is a better expression of the grape variety, softened by oak, spices and well-ripened fruit. It matures for two years in large wooden barrels. The wine has a velvety quality that helps to envelop the palate, and you get plenty of stuffing here in terms of texture and lingering fruit flavours. The fruit that is not used directly for Barolo Castiglione goes into this wine instead. Around 40,000 bottles are available for sale.

Cantina Vietti:

The Vietti winery is located in the historic centre of the world-famous wine village of Castiglione Falletto, in the heart of the Barolo region, surrounded by the picturesque hills of the Langhe. Since 1974, selected Vietti wines have been labelled with individual artist labels. Inspired by the wine, they are created by renowned artists especially for the respective vintage.
