Tasting note:

Colour: Ruby red colour.

Nose: Tertiary aromas from the barrel, with notes of vanilla, biscuit, cocoa and coconut. At the same time, the freshness remains, as fruity notes also dominate, especially red fruits and strawberry tones.

Palate: Very balanced in the mouth and full of complexity. Pleasant entry and very good tannin structure with silky, velvety tannins: In combination with a very good acidity, this gives it length.

Bodegas Matsu:

MATSU (Japanese for hope) is a modern and very sustainable winegrowing project run by the Ambarri family of entrepreneurs and winegrowers (Vintae). Bodegas Matsu is located in the D.O. Toro and brings some Far Eastern culture to this ancient wine-growing region. The interplay between nature and technology takes centre stage here. Matsu's remarkable red wines are all produced using biodynamic methods. Herbicides, insecticides and fungicides are not used at all on the vines, some of which are more than a hundred years old.
