Vinification:

Only a very small selection of the very best Merlot grapes from vines over 50 years old is used for this top wine. After 17 days of maceration in stainless steel tanks, the young wine is matured and refined for 18 months in French barriques (Allier and Nevers, 2/3 new).

Tasting note:

Deep cherry red colour with ruby reflections. Very complex notes with lots of concentrated fruit, some liquorice and fine spice in combination with elegant wood notes. Full-bodied and ripe on the palate, with a rich and delicate fruity sweetness. This rarity is characterised by excellent harmony and a lot of smoothness.
