Alcohol content: 12.5% vol.
Grape varieties: Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah
Vinification:
The ageing to 95% in stainless steel tanks gives the Rosé Miraval an intense floral note, including lilies on the nose and fine strawberry and raspberry flavours. The 5% in barriques with regular bâtonnage contribute to the fullness and complexity of the rosé.
Tasting note:
The Miraval Côtes de Provence already seduces with its bright, salmon-coloured pink. The fantastic bouquet presents delicate aromas of bright fruit, freshly picked strawberries and flowers. The palate impresses with complexity, notes of wild raspberries and strawberries, wild herbs, citrus fruit and nuances reminiscent of wet stone. The refreshing acidity can be attributed to the higher altitude of the vineyards. The finish is round, long-lasting and lively. The Rosé Miraval has turned out extremely well, partly because Angelina and Brad have been involved from the harvest onwards - both are very demanding in their search for quality and character in their wines, reports Perrin. The ageing in stainless steel tanks gives the Rosé Miraval an intense floral note, including lilies on the nose and fine strawberry and raspberry flavours.
