Falstaff: not yet rated
Alcohol content: 13% vol.
Grape varieties: 100% Chardonnay
Vinification:
Harvested by hand, traditionally fermented with natural yeasts.
Tasting note:
Light green-yellow, silver reflections. Delicate yellow tropical fruit, a hint of wild herbs and walnut, mineral undertones. Complex, juicy, yellow fruit, subtle sweetness, fine acidity, elegant and already harmonious, a balanced food companion, already accessible.
Sabathi Winery:
The Sabathis' philosophy is based on the understanding that terroir is not only created by climate and soil, but also by human cultivation. Their natural soil management, the support of plant health and the exclusive use of their own vineyard yeasts allow the wines to express the terroir unadulterated. The Pössnitzberg, with its long history and unique soil composition, is the heart of their vineyards and perfectly embodies the flavours and styles typical of the region.
