Aged for 5 months in French and American oak barrels

Tasting note:

Ripe black cherries, wild blackberries, blackcurrants, nutmeg, liquorice, mahogany, musk and dry thyme on the nose. It is full-bodied and rounded with intense flavours of black and blue fruits, wonderfully balanced with woody, spicy and smoky notes. Velvety tannins and integrated. Such concentration and precision. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Already amazing and hard to resist, but it will be even better in a few years.

Azienda Agricola Duemani:

At the Duemani estate, the three vineyards are arranged in the shape of an amphitheatre with a view of the sea. Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah thrive there. The highest vineyard hill has the richest soil; it is planted with Cabernet.

The smallest, very stony vineyard is the centrepiece of the small Tuscan winery. The approximately 7,000 vines of the Syrah variety grow in bush training, i.e. without a support system consisting of wires, frames and stakes.
