Alcohol content: 13 % vol.
Grape varieties: 100% Negroamaro
Vinifcation:
The hand-picked grapes are matured in stainless steel tanks.
Tasting note:
The aromas of morello cherries and juniper are immediately captivating, while the hint of mocha gives the wine a seductive note. The flavour is velvety and elegant, making it the perfect companion for a romantic dinner. The long finish rounds off the flavour experience and leaves the wine lingering on the tongue for a long time.
Tenuta Giustini:
The Giustini winery is located in San Giorgio in the picturesque region of Apulia in the south of Italy. Giuseppe Papdopoli bought the estate in 1991 and 14 years later, in 2005, the first self-produced wine was launched on the market. Giuseppe and his two sons Salvatore and Federico are the fourth generation to run the family business. Giustini's vineyards stretch across the gentle Itria hills and fertile plains of Apulia and benefit from the warm sun, the Taranto River and the region's typically mild climate. Indigenous grape varieties such as Primitivo, Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera are preferably cultivated here. Tenuta Giustini follows this philosophy: its aim is to preserve and cultivate these indigenous grape varieties and their typicality, which is inextricably linked to the land. The aim is to enhance the grapes without adulterating them. Their wines are characterised by their clarity, balance, complexity and finesse.
