Vinification:

Around 3 weeks on the skins, matured for 6 months in large wooden barrels.

Tasting note:

Brilliant purple red colour. Exceptionally fruity flavours of black cherries, raspberries, redcurrants and a delicate spiciness.

Paul Achs Winery:

The winery in Gols is located 60 kilometres south-east of Vienna, close to the Hungarian border in the middle of an impressive and beautiful natural paradise - Northern Burgenland.

The vineyards are located in and around Gols. 25 hectares, spread over 40 plots, each with its own individual potential. This wide spread gives us a variety of soils and microclimates - the ideal basis for creating exciting, authentic wines year after year.

The planting of the vineyards was chosen in such a way that the variety, soil and orientation create a harmonious whole - some vineyards were planted with three different grape varieties.
