Vinification:

Traditionnelle Vinifikation in offenen Fässern. Malolaktische Gärung. Der Wein reift dann für 10-12 Monate in grossen Eichenholzfässern (20% neu).

Dedustationsnotiz:I

Im Glas dunkles Violett mit granatroten Reflexen. Die Nase ist würzig frisch mit dem Duft von Kirsche. Am Gaumen zeigt sich der Chambolle-Musigny seidig und reichhaltig. Es finden sich wieder schwarze Kirsche und Peffer. Der Wein endet in einer schönen frischen Länge.

Today, the 11th Latour generation is already running the wine trade and winegrowing business. The management of the family business is always passed on to the first-born - and for eight generations he has always had the first name Louis.

Today, no fewer than seven domaines mainly vinify grapes from the Côte d'Or, but also from Chablis, Beaujolais and the south of France.

Maison Louis Latour is the only company in Burgundy to produce all of its own pièces (wooden barrels) in its own cooperage. Wines from over 100 AOCs are matured in around 3500 barrels. Louis Latour's wines are elegant and fragrant. The focus is less on concentration and more on elegance.
