75 cl
Falstaff: 98 points
Alcohol content: 13.5% vol.
Grape varieties: 100% Chardonnay
Vinification:
Strictest grape selection from the best vineyard parcel in Margreid, selective hand-picking and gentle transport to the cellar. After alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks, the wine matures for 18 months in barriques before being bottled for a further 12 months before being sold.
Tasting note:
The aromas on the nose are complex, mysterious and intriguing. Captivating and complex. On the palate, the Kreuzweg is deep, mineral and multi-faceted. The finish is mineral and long-lasting. Its character is reminiscent of a great Burgundy.
