Tasting note:

This wine presents itself in a bright purple colour. The bouquet is still somewhat impetuous and needs time to fully develop. On the palate, the wine is concentrated, multi-layered and profound, although its youthfulness is still noticeable. An outstanding "Corfiero", probably the best so far! Ideal enjoyment from mid-2022, with a shelf life until at least the end of 2030.

Podere Forte:

The Val d'Orcia, a Unesco heritage site since 2004, is the setting for Podere Forte, a winery founded in 1997 by Pasquale Forte. The visionary entrepreneur has created a balanced system in which all elements complement each other and which follows the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture.

The ancient idea of the Roman Corti has been revitalised on an area of 500 hectares. A place where people, plants and animals coexist harmoniously, making it self-sufficient and sustainable. A true hymn to biodiversity.
