Vinification:
Matured in a steel tank for 4 months, followed by 2 months’ bottle ageing.
Tasting note:
On the nose, floral aromas and a fresh hint of mint; on the palate, aromatic and light and lively, rounded off with pleasant notes of white lilac and apricots.
Azienda Russo:
The Russo Farm is an exceptionally authentic, family-run farm and a renowned vineyard in the municipality of Suvereto in the Tuscan Maremma. The farm is situated on a hill Podere Metocchina and is run by Michele Russo with great passion and craftsmanship.
What makes this Azienda special is its philosophy: whilst many of the surrounding estates have been transformed into prestige properties by major investors, Azienda Russo remains a genuine, down-to-earth agricultural business. Across some 12.5 hectares of vineyards, as well as additional olive groves and pastures, 100 % organic and worked in harmony with nature.
