75 cl
Alcohol content: 13.5% vol.
Grape varieties: 100% Pinot Grigio
Vinification:
Harvest and grape selection by hand; gentle pressing and clarification of the must from the lees; slow fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks; ageing and maturation for 5-7 months on the fine lees in steel tanks.
Tasting note:
Brilliant straw yellow in the glass. Stimulatingly fruity on the nose with the aroma of Williams pear, lychee and white melon complemented by floral notes of a freshly mown flower meadow. Finely balanced on the palate with spicy black tea flavours, exotic fruit such as melon and grapefruit. A full-bodied, soft Pinot Grigio.
Cantina Terlan:
Founded in 1893, Kellerei Terlan is now one of the leading winegrowers' cooperatives in South Tyrol. It currently has 143 members who cultivate 165 hectares of vineyards and produce a total of around 1.4 million bottles. Together with its members, the co-operative has been pursuing a strict quality policy for many years, which has earned them a reputation and recognition on the Italian and international wine market.
Despite its manageable size, the Terlan winery has thus become a firm institution in the professional world and has remained true to its philosophy "We let wines mature". Having time, taking time and giving things time is perhaps the greatest luxury we can have today, when everything has to happen faster and faster. In Terlan we afford ourselves this luxury. Every wine is given the time it needs to mature to absolute perfection. Even for decades.
