Vinification:

Matured for 11 months in barriques (25-30% new wood), followed by a further 7 months in stainless steel tanks. The average age of the vines is over 50 years.

Tasting note:

This characterful wine is an excellent representation of the village of Puligny - outstanding complexity, the acidity is perfectly integrated, powerful and full of elegance. The finish lingers forever.

Domaine Jean-Louis Chavy:

Family-owned since 1820, the Domaine has been run by the legendary Jean-Louis since 2002, who has driven forward the expansion of the Domaine, including a new cellar and modern wine-growing methods.

In the meantime, his son Paul has also returned to the family business after studying oenology.
