In French oak barrels, at controlled temperature To 50% in new and to 50% in used French oak barrels. 16 months in barrels and 20 months ageing in the bottle.

Tasting note:

Der 2021er Roda, der früher als Roda II bezeichnet wurde, zeichnet sich durch mehr rote als schwarze Fruchtaromen und ein zugänglicheres Profil aus und wurde in diesem kühleren und sehr ausgewogenen Jahr aus einer Cuvée aus Tempranillo mit 6 % Garnacha und 5 % Graciano gekeltert. Er weist Noten von aromatischen Kräutern, Waldbeeren und Blumen auf, ist recht würzig und am Gaumen mittelkräftig, mit zurückhaltender Reife und 14 % Alkoholgehalt; die geschliffenen und runden Tannine des Jahrgangs 2021 machen ihn sehr harmonisch und lang anhaltend. Der Ausbau erfolgte zu gleichen Teilen in neuen und bereits einmal verwendeten französischen Barriques und dauerte 14 Monate. Die Eiche ist sauber integriert, und der Wein präsentiert sich jung und rein.
