Ausbau je zur Hälfte in neuen und gebrauchten Barriques für 18 Monate.
Tasting note:
In der Nase zeigen sich Aromen von Kirschen, Zwetschgen und Schwarzen Johannisbeeren, dazu etwas Nougat und eine feine, leicht pfeffrige Würze. Straffer Gaumen, saftig und ausgewogen, mit langem Abgang.

René Pöckl manages the over 100-year-old family winery in the village of Mönchhof on Lake Neusiedl together with his wife Eva in the 4th generation. The flavoursome red terroir wines all have a dense, fleshy structure with plenty of power and a balancing, noble finesse and elegance. The ageing potential of the Pöckl wines is remarkable!
