Alexander Vs the Ham Duero DO - Casa Rojo - 2018
CHF 30.50
In stock
75 cl
Alcohol content: 14% vol.
Grape varieties: 100% Tempranillo
Vinification:
19 months in French barriques
The first vintage to be vinified in the new bodega near Arande de Duero. Thanks to selective hand-picking, state-of-the-art cellar technology and ageing in new barriques from France's most renowned clay cellars, Alexander has moved up into a new league: a world-class Ribera at a still reasonable price.
Tasting note:
Black cherry with mineral undertones. Silky on the palate, with melting and alcoholic strength, high tannin quality, subtle acidity, definitely also fruit, but the alcohol dominates.
