Vinification:

Vinifikation traditionell in offenen Fässern, malolaktische Gärung. Ausbau erfolgt während 10 bis 12 Monaten in Eichenfässern (35 % Neuholz).

Deugstationsnotiz:

Im Glas zeigt sich der Aloxe-Corton Les Chaillots in tiefem Granatrot. In der Nase duftet es fein nach Kirschen und Muskat, delikat würzig. Am Gaumen begeistert er durch eine tolle Fülle von Waldbeeren, Himbeeren, Lakritz und Kaffee. Das Finale ist unglaublich frisch.

Today, the 11th Latour generation is already running the wine trade and winegrowing business. The management of the family business is always passed on to the first-born - and for eight generations he has always had the first name Louis.

Today, no fewer than seven domaines mainly vinify grapes from the Côte d'Or, but also from Chablis, Beaujolais and the south of France.

Maison Louis Latour is the only company in Burgundy to produce all of its own pièces (wooden barrels) in its own cooperage. Wines from over 100 AOCs are matured in around 3500 barrels. Louis Latour's wines are elegant and fragrant. The focus is less on concentration and more on elegance.
