75 cl

Alcohol content: 15% vol.

Grape varieties: Corvina, Rondinella, Oseleta, Corvinone

Vinification:

The grapes are harvested by hand and placed on trays to dry. The grapes are then pressed and fermented in concrete vats. Finally, the wine is refined in Slavonian oak barrels.

Tasting note:

Dark, powerful Amarone red colour. Aromas of preserved black berries and cherries with notes of violets; full-bodied, juicy acidity, well-integrated tannins, finely bitter, long finish; distinctive, harmonious wine.

Zymé:

The name Kyrenia - mermaid in German - comes from ancient Greece, the European cradle of viticulture. The ships were built to transport wine amphorae across the sea from Greece to Italy. The sailors brought joy to the harbours of Italy and are the only witnesses of this era today. Centuries later, the story is continued by the owner of the Zymé winery: Celestino Gaspari. The new and exclusive Kyrenia wine line was created twenty years after the foundation of the prestigious Zymé winery to fulfil two requirements: a further step into the future for Zymé wines, in terms of refinement, exclusivity and quality. And secondly, to satisfy the ever-growing demand from wine connoisseurs for fruit-driven, harmonious and accessible wines. Kyrenia wines are characterised by their lightness and vivacity. They are wonderfully fruity, elegant and easy to drink. Kyrenia wines are always a wonderful accompaniment to any dish, no matter how simple. Celestino Gaspari, winemaker and cellar master at Cantina Zymé, strives to honour the identity of the grape and the Veneto region with the new Kyrenia wines. In doing so, it is important to him to maintain respect for tradition and to care for the wines with great care and an expert hand.
