Vinification:

The hand-picked grapes are destemmed and cold macerated in open stainless steel fermentation tanks for 48 hours. Mash fermentation lasts around 14 days, with regular remontage and délestage to achieve optimum colour and tannin extraction. Malolactic fermentation in small oak barrels. Maturation for 18 months, mainly in barriques (French oak), of which approx. 25% are new, and to a lesser extent in large wooden barrels. The wine is neither fined nor filtered before bottling.

Tasting note:

An exuberant bouquet of ripe wild berries and raspberries, underpinned by delicately spicy notes; on the palate, it is powerful and dense, with dark cherries, cinnamon and a bouquet of dried herbs – ripe and wonderfully balanced.
