Tasting note:

Light greenish yellow with persistent perlage. Sweet nose of vanilla pod, liquorice and some white peach, with a raspberry aftertaste. Very balanced on the palate with a bold attack and well-embedded perlage, taut, good consistency with a long finish.

Tenuta Montenisa:

The Montenisa estate is located in the heart of Franciacorta near the village of Calino, a jewel in this gentle part of Italy, where centuries of history have passed by ancient palaces, monasteries, abbeys and small churches scattered among the green hills and moraine valleys. It is said that the name Franciacorte goes back to "Petite France", the affectionate name given to this region by Charlemagne.
