Elegant, with fresh and original aromas of ripe black fruits, sweet spices and subtle toasted notes. On the palate, a very well-balanced and easy-drinking wine with rounded tannins and a long, very pleasant finish.

Bodegas Protos is the oldest and one of the most renowned wineries in the region Ribera del Duero in Spain. Founded in 1927 Founded by eleven visionary winegrowers in Peñafiel (province of Valladolid), the name is derived from the Greek word for „the first“. The winery has had such a profound influence on the region that it gave its name to the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin (D.O.) and is now one of Spain’s most visited wine destinations.
