Alcohol content: 14.5% vol.
Grape varieties: 48% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc
Vinification:
The carefully harvested grapes come from the best vineyard sites at 180 to 200 metres above sea level. The grape varieties were vinified separately; fermentation and maceration took place in tanks for approx. 25/30 days at a temperature not exceeding 28/30° C.
Tasting note:
Bright, rich ruby red colour with a delicate purple hue. Expressive and fragrant nose of rich wild berries, ripe cherries and a hint of dark chocolate, with fine floral components, precious wood and light spice. On the palate with a great melting texture and tightly woven tannins, very powerful, pure and clear on the palate, very long, still young.
Argentiera:
The Argentiera estate covers a total of 153 hectares. The land is lined with avenues of pine trees, olive trees and woodland and boasts a unique biodiversity that provides the vines with optimal growing conditions, as they are largely protected from insect pests and wild animals and are not exposed to climatic stress.
The alternating succession of cultivated areas with Mediterranean scrub favours the formation of large corridors for the continuous sea breeze, which ensures a mild, dry climate all year round.
