Tasting note:
The aromas on the nose are complex, mysterious and intriguing. Captivating and complex. On the palate, the Kreuzweg is deep, mineral and multi-faceted. The finish is mineral and long-lasting. Its character is reminiscent of a great Burgundy.
Castelfeder Winery:
The Castelfeder winery was founded in 1969 by Alfons Giovanett in Neumarkt in the South Tyrolean lowlands. The passion for viticulture was passed down in the family and the knowledge was passed on through the generations. After Günther Giovanett, the second generation, took over, the Castelfeder winery grew continuously, which made it necessary to move the winery from Egna to Cortina on the Wine Road. In the new Castelfeder winery, the quality could be refined and the wine style further developed. Ivan and Ines, the third generation, have been active in the family business for a number of years now and are passionately driving the way to the top of winegrowing in South Tyrol with enthusiasm, the highest quality standards and international marketing.
