James Suckling: 92-93 points
Alcohol content: 14% vol.
Grape varieties: 55% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot
Vinification:
The grapes are harvested partly by machine and partly by hand. After fermentation in steel tanks, the young wine matures for 12 to 15 months in 40% new French barriques.
Tasting note:
The body is very intense, very dark and indicates a wealth of important anthocyanins. Overall, the wine has an expressive and fresh aroma of dark berries, which is expressed in an intense and concentrated character. The attack in the mouth is very sublime, with a certain dynamism caused by a pleasant acidity. All of this develops under a clear tannin structure that is elegant and almost creamy. The finish is fruity and delicious, a complete success!
