Vinification:

After harvesting, the grapes are transported to the Celeste winery in Valladolid and fermented in stainless steel tanks at 28 - 30°C for a week. The Torres Celeste Crianza then rests on the skins for three weeks before maturing for 12 months in French and American oak barrels.

Tasting note:

Cherry red colour with garnet accents. Wonderful, full bouquet with notes of dark fruit, chocolate and dried plums. On the palate, it is dense, juicy and with silky tannins. A full, juicy Crianza with fruit, body and colour: as unique as the night sky in the Ribera del Duero.

In Ribera del Duero, the winery is located in Fompedraza at 895 metres above sea level, the highest elevation in the DO. This privileged location with its spectacular landscape offers the ideal climate for the production of intensely flavoured red wines. In Rueda, the winery is located in Villafranca del Duero, the westernmost area of the DO Rueda. In this exceptionally picturesque setting, white wines are produced that emphasise the characteristic and authentic qualities of the Verdejo grape variety.
