Vinification:

After pressing, the hand-picked grapes are fermented in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The young wine is then matured for 16 to 18 months in 60% new oak barriques.

Tasting note:

Aromas of blackcurrant, lavender, gravel, dried leaves, spice box and dark chocolate. It is full-bodied with firm, well-integrated tannins. Creamy and juicy with a solid core of ripe fruit and a long, flavourful finish. Grows on the palate. To be tasted from 2025.

Château Pédesclaux is a renowned winery in the appellation Pauillac in Bordeaux. At the historic The 1855 Bordeaux Wine Classification It was classified as a Cinquième Grand Cru Classé (fifth growth).

Grape variety index: The stock consists primarily of approx. 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot. In recent years, the proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon has been deliberately increased.

Organic certification: The vineyard is managed in a strictly sustainable manner. Since the 2022 vintage, the winery has been officially certified organic (Organic Farming).
