Vinification:

The grapes are fermented with their yeast in a 10,000-litre tank and in new French oak barrels from Burgundy. The wine matures there for six months before being bottled.

Tasting note:

High aromatic intensity, very sharp and penetrating. A well-balanced interplay between fruit and oak, with a predominance of citrus notes such as lemon leaf and ginger, white flowers such as jasmine and orange blossom, and tropical fruits such as pineapple and mango. The oak notes complement these fruity notes and lend the wine creamy vanilla and pastry aromas.
Full-bodied on the palate, with a very sweet attack and great richness in the mid-palate. The acidity lends the wine depth and complexity, resulting in a very full-bodied yet elegant wine.

Paco Garcia:

Bodegas Paco Garcia is situated 420 metres above sea level in the picturesque village of Murillo de Río Leza, not far from the provincial capital, Logroño. Paco Garcia was founded by Julia Pablo and Francisco Garcia. The experienced businessman decided to set up a small village shop in the community. However, the Garcia family’s true passion has always been viticulture. Using the proceeds from the shop, the family gradually acquired further vineyards and later built their own winery. Today, the Garcia family owns around 40 hectares of vineyards in the central part of the Rioja region. The average age of the vines is around 30 years. Since the company was founded, their son Juan Bautista Garcia has been working in the family business. A qualified oenologist, he now oversees operations in the winery. Ana Fernandez Benoga is responsible for the sale and export of the wines. The hand in the logo symbolises the hard work and passion of the Paco Garcia family. From the very beginning, their aim was to do things differently from the rest. They have achieved this impressively with modern, fruity, flavourful and spicy wines, as well as an eye-catching design.
