Vinification:

The Satèn is the most delicate and elegant of the Franciacortas, produced only in the finest vintages from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown in higher-altitude vineyards. The selection of the grapes is, to say the least, meticulous, as is the slow ageing in small white oak barrels. After blending, the cuvée spends a further four years in the cellar.

Tasting note:

Delicate bubbles carry aromas of citrus fruits, white peach and subtle hints of brioche. The structure is precise and well-balanced, with fresh acidity, an elegant texture and a clean, lingering finish. Ideal with oysters or delicate fish-based starters.

Bellavista Franciacorta:

Bellavista was founded in Franciacorta in 1977 by Vittorio Moretti, who decided to turn the small family-owned winery into a company. These first historic vineyards of exceptional quality are located on the Bellavista hill, named after its beautiful location. From there you can see Lake Iseo and the entire Po Valley as far as the Alps. The vines, which are on average 25 years old, are cultivated using the Guyot system.
