Fronsac

Das Weinbaugebiet Fronsac ist eine traditionsreiche Appellation für high-quality red wines im französischen Weinbaugebiet Bordeaux. Sie liegt am sogenannten Rechten Ufer (Rive Droite) der Flüsse Dordogne und Isle, direkt westlich der berühmten Nachbarregionen Pomerol und Saint-Émilion. Zur Region gehört auch die noch kleinere, eingeschlossene Enklave Canon-Fronsac.
