Alcohol content: 14% vol.

Vinification:
Hand-harvested in mid-September, followed by ageing in steel tanks and used barrique barrels for six months. The wine is bottled in mid-April and left to mature in the bottle for a further four months.
Tasting note:
On the nose, spicy aromas, dark berries and a hint of cigar box; on the palate, very dense with pronounced tannins underpinned by delicate fruit – not chewy or overpowering, but complex and elegant.
Azienda Russo:
The Russo Farm is an exceptionally authentic, family-run farm and a renowned vineyard in the municipality of Suvereto in the Tuscan Maremma. The farm is situated on a hill Podere Metocchina and is run by Michele Russo with great passion and craftsmanship.
What makes this Azienda special is its philosophy: whilst many of the surrounding estates have been transformed into prestige properties by major investors, Azienda Russo remains a genuine, down-to-earth agricultural business. Across some 12.5 hectares of vineyards, as well as additional olive groves and pastures, 100 % organic and worked in harmony with nature.
